- Fixed the pathfinding AGAIN. Went from mp_grid to mp _potential. This means enemies will be AWFUL at strategic grid-based movement, but as dumb demons who only have to pursue the player when they show up in small rooms, this should be fine. As a result of using this new system, memory issues should be less of a problem, and enemies will no longer overlap each other. NOTE: This only applies to Sixty Sickle. The proto-gunners are still running old code.
- Reload timer! I think having ammo drops would be a bad way to go, but as is, having infinite ammo with no downside makes using the shotgun unpleasantly braindead. You just click constantly! Why not??? In an effort to mitigate this, a 1 second reload timer has been implemented. You still have infinite ammo, but now you could be left at a disadvantage if you fire all the time.
In future update:
- Music/Sound
- Building an actual map
- A main menu for easy load/save of Replays
- Add a 'weakspot' exploit for enemies such as the Sickle. I'd like to make it so that if you shoot him in the face right as he slashes he's staggered and you can do big damage.
- Making the Style Rankings actually work.
